We operate different private tours to Manu Road with departure from Cusco and depending on the client wants to make the days we have 20 – 15 & 10 these 3 tours with departure from Puerto Maldonado the tours ends in Puerto Mdo. And the others – 8- 6 & 4 days these 3 tours with return to Cusco by the same route and the tour ends in Cusco. Day 1
Cusco to Wayqecha Station.-

Today we leave after breakfast and pick you up from your hotel with our vehicle and then start the journey to Manu road with stops on the way as well as in Huacarpay lagoon where we can observe as well: Bearded Mountaineer, Plumbeus Rail, Many Colored Rush Tyrant, Strek Fronted Thornbird, Rusty Fronted Canastero Giant hummingbird and other species and after this stop we will continue to Wayquecha with other stops to observe more species as well as Ground Tyrants and others and then we will arrive in paucartambo a small colonial town where we can also observe as well as a colonial bridge and the old Spanish Houses and of step to use Baths and later we continue toward the trip toward National Park of Manu where already begins the forest of clouds of high part of 3,500 msnm where the PNM begins and of here we begin to observe many Birds as well as: Tapaculo Puna, Scarlet Bellied Mountain Tanager, Golden Collared Tanager, Pygmy Owl Yungas, Moustached Flowerpiercer, White Browed Conebill, three Striped Hemispingus, Hooded Mountain Tanager, Gray Breasted Mountain Toucan, Black Faced Brush Finch and other species but continuing the journey to reach Wayqecha where we have feeders of Colibries there we will have some species of Colibries as well as: Inca Collared, Sword Billed Hummingbird, Tyrian Metaltail, Shinning Sunbeam, Amethyst Throated Sunangel and other species and after this activity we will go out again with our vehicle to look for the Swallow Tailed Nightjar and then we will return to Wayqecha for dinner and night in Wayqecha.

 

Day 2
Wayqecha to Cock Of The Rock Lodge.

This day we will leave Wayqecha after breakfast for CORL. This day the birding is on the manu route and we can observe many species such as: Gray Breasted Mountain Toucan, Mountain Cacique,Band Tailed Fruiteater, Marcapata Spinetail, Barred Fruiteater, White Collared Jay, Red and White Antpitta, Golden Headed Quetzal, Chestnut Crested Cotinga, Fulvous Wren, Hooded mountain tanager, Trilling Tapaculo, White Browed Hemispingus,  Pale Legged Warbler, Rufous Antpitta, Inca Flycatcher, Blue Banded Toucanet, Rufous capped thornbill & montane Woodcreeper After this activity or birding we will continue towards CORL, with more stops to be able to observe other species as well as: Masked Trogon, unadorn Flycatcher, Andean Guan, Blue and Black Tanager, Collared Inca, Saffron Crowned Tanager, Blue Winged mountain Tanager, Solitary Eagle, Semicollared Hawk & Andean Potoo after this activity we will continue to Cock Of the Rock Lodge where we will arrive early and there the rooms are waiting for us ready to settle in and then leave to observe the hummingbirds in the feeders that if you can see 10 species and there is also a feeders of tanagers that if you can observe some species in the lodge to take pictures and observe after we will have dinner at the lodge and spend the night in Lodge.

Day 3 & 4
Cock of the Rock Lodge ( CORL)

In these 2 days of CORL pajareo is in route and also there is a tocha that if it can walk but few possibilities of observing birds because the trail is not ample is narrow but if we have many possibilities of observing but species in the route and first morning or afternoon we will have a visit leck cock of the Rock where we will be able to appreciate a beautiful dance of male by one hour and return to lodge for the breakfast later we will leave to observe birds in the route are many species of tanagers and others As well as: Crested Quetzal, Black Streaked Pufbird, Orange Eared Tanager, Golden tanager, Yellow Rumped Antwren, Yunas Manakin, Slaty Gnateater, Paradise Tanager, Blue Necked Tanager, Golden eared Tanager, White Winged Tanager, Lanceolated Monklet, Montane Foliage Gleaner, Yellow Throated, Clorospingus, Blue Naped Chlorophonia,Yellow breasted Antwren, White Crowned tapaculo, Versicolored Barbet, Black and Chestnut Eagle, Slaty Tanager, Buff Tinghed Puffleg,  Ochre Faced tody Flycatcher, Lemon Browed  Flycatcher, Bay Headed tanager, Brown Tinamou, Black Eared Hemispingus, Andean Solitaery, Spotted Barbtail, Brown Tinamou, Booted Rackettail, Violet Fronted Brilliant, Peruvian piedtail, Rufous Breasted Woodquail, Marble Faced Bristle tyrant, Slaty capped Flycatcher, White Backed Fire Eye, Spotted tanager, Ornate , Cerulean Capped Manakin, Olive Finch, Many Spotted Hummingbird,  Wire crested Thorntail, White Bellied Woodstar, Green Hermit, Speckled Hummingbird, Olive Backed Woodcreeper, Golden Olive Woodpecker, Andean Solitairy, Solitary Eagle, White eared Solitairy, Black Streak Pufbird, Brown Tinamou, Orange Bellied Euphonia, Golden Crownwed Flycatcher, Scaled Crested pygmy Tyrant, Ash Browed Spinetail and many other species. These species can be observed near CORL. After spending 2 days in CORL. We will leave this place that is super good for Birders where one can photograph birds and some Manifest as: Brown Aguti, Bolivian Squirrel, Large Headed Capuchin and Common Wooly Monkey. There are possibilities to see these mammals near the lodge and after spending the scheduled days we will have the last dinner and spend the last night.

Day 5
CORL, to Amazonia Lodge.

This 5th day we will leave the lodge, after breakfast we will pick up our things as well as suitcases or backpacks and then we will load our vehicle and then we will begin our trip towards Amazonia Lodge, with many stops on the way to be able to observe some species as well as: Amazonia Umbrellabird, Cinnamon Faced Tyrannulet, Chestnut Backed Antshrike, Stripe Chested Antwren, Ornate Stiplethroat, Yellow Breasted Warbling Antbird, Ornate Flycatcher, Black Backed Tody Flycatcher After observing these species we will have another stop at Bambu lodge for lunch where we will have a Box Fight at the lodge where we can get cold drinks for lunch and at the lodge we will also have the opportunity to observe Hummingbirds such as: Rufous crested Coquette, Gould's Jewellfront, Masked Tanager, Gray Breasted Sabrewing, Amethyst Woodstart, White Browed Hermit, Mottle Backed Elaenia, Blue headed Macaw, and other species and then We will continue the trip to Amazonia Lodge and with other stops on the way to observe other species such as: Yellow Billed Nunbird, Manu Antbird, Fine Barred Piculet, Red Billed Scybill, White Line Antbird, and after observing these birds we will continue the trip passing through 2 small villages. Between Patria and Pilcopata there are about 40 minutes more to arrive to Atalaya port where the boat is waiting for us and then we will load our things and go down the Madre de Dios River where we will start our trip by boat for 20 minutes downstream and there we will disembark and take a 10 minute walk to Amazonia lodge where we will also stay. for another 2 full Days and here arriving we will first check in to our rooms and then we will observe hummingbirds in the lodge garden which is super good for seeing hummingbirds and other birds in the garden and dinner at Lodge and after dinner if you can observe some Owls and Nightjars in Garden then night at Amazonia lodge.

Day 6 & 7
Amazonia Lodge

During these 2 days we will concentrate on Amazonia lodge and as always we will get up early for breakfast and then visit the trails where we can observe different species of birds as well as: Tanagers, Flycatchers, Woodcreepers, Barbets, Antwrens, Anbirds, Antshrikes, Manakins, Oropendolas, Xenops, Hummingbirds, Raptors, Hotzin, Woodpeckers, Spinetails, Parrots, Macaws, and others on the trails and there is also a small tower that is also very good for the birds that are on the hill that there are others: Amazonian Antpitta, Military Macaw, Red Billed Tyrannulet, Plain Sofftail, Specled Spinetail, Dusky Chekeed Foliage Gleaner, Spot Backed Antbird, Band Tailed Manakin, Koepke's Hermit, Fine Barred Piculet, Razor Billed Curassow, Bamboo Antshrike, Little Cuckoo, Blue Headed Macaw, Gould's Jewell Front, rufous crested Coquette, Lemon Throated Barbet, Carmiol's Tanager, Masked Crimson Tanager, Black Banded Woodcreeper, Cinnamon Throated Woodcreeper, Goeldi's Antbird, Round tailed Manakin, Hairy Crested Antbird, half collared Gnatwren, Gray Antwren and other species we will see during 2 days in Amazonia Lodge as we have the high tower hill to observe other species and in the lower part where this lodge all flat where there are many trails to walk and there we can see many birds of what if mentioned in the program of Travel and after staying the 2 days the third day we will leave Amazonia Lodge

Day 8
Amazonia to Manu Wildlife Center

Today we will get up very early to get our bags ready and then we will have breakfast and then start walking towards the Madre de Dios River where our boat will be waiting for us to start the trip down the river for 6 or 7 hours until we get to MWC. This day we will take a Box Lunch and have lunch on the boat and also this day we will observe from the boat as well as for example: San Colored Nighthawk, Cocoi Heron, Amazon Kingfisher, Macaws, Parrots, Eagles, Yellow Billed Tern, Large Billed Tern, Black Skimmer, Orinoco Goose, Horned Screamer, Capped Heron, Fasciated Tiger Heron, Drab Water Tyrant and others and in the afternoon we will arrive at MWC where we will first settle into our rooms and if we have time we will visit the Tower after observing some species we will return to the lodge for dinner and the night at MWC.

Day 9, 10, 11, 12, 13
Manu Wildlife Center.-

Here we have many places to visit Macaw Clay Lick, Cocha Blanco, Torre de Camungo and many trails where we have many species to see as well as: Antbirds, Antwrens, Flycatchers, Woodpeckers, Woodcreepers, Foliage Gleaner, Manakins, Parrots, Parakeets, Macaws, Quetzals, Puffbird, Corassow Trumpeter, Tinamus, Tanagers, Hawk, Eagles, Hummingbirds, Euphonias Toucans, Cotingas, and other species and during the stay at MWC. We will have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the lodge and we will also go by boat to visit the Macaw and Parrot Clay Lick which is 30 minutes by boat downstream and 30 minutes walk to get to Macaws and another view we will have by boat is Cocha Blanco which is 20 minutes by boat down river 10 minutes walk, and Camungo tower which is also 30 minutes by boat down river and 15 minutes walk which are super good for bird watching and the rest of the days we will visit the lodge trails which have many trails and many species to see and the last day we will all be tired and all aremos laundry for our trip to port then the last night aremos all payments of Bar and laundry and the next day we will leave early.

Day 14
MWC to Puerto Maldonado.-

Today we will get up early again to get our Things or Luggage and backpacks ready and then we will have breakfast and after we pick up our hand bags and to the boat all and that the bags are loaded in boat and here we will have 3 hours of trip in boat to Colorado Town Center where we will take the Cabs to Puerto Carlos where we will take a boat to cross the Inambari River for 20 minutes and then there our vehicle will be waiting for us to start the trip to Puerto Maldonado for 3 hours with some stops on the way and in the afternoon we will arrive at our Hotel in Puerto Maldonado for dinner at a restaurant and the night at the Hotel.

Day 15
Puerto Maldonado Lima.

Today we will get up very early again the last hawking and take our vehicle and visit the shepherdess a very good place to see some species like: White Throated Jacamar, Purus Jacamar, Black Banded Crake, Buff breasted Wren, Gray line Hawk and other common species and after observing these species we will return to the hotel to have breakfast at the hotel and then swim and get ready to go to the air port where we will take the flight to Lima and here the tour finish.
